Our Mission
Therapies that focus on building skills and processing life's challenges can improve symptoms of psychological distress that are preventing us from living our lives and achieving our goals. Research shows that for many conditions, time-limited (not forever) psychotherapies with a focus on behavioral coping skills, education, and processing emotions and thoughts more effectively are among the best practices. At Reilly Psychological Health, we think of this much like the process of mending: we’ll take an honest look at the wear and tear caused by symptoms and problems and work together, honoring your story to repair, strengthen, and restore your functioning. Most often, Dr. Hruska works with clients for a limited time once weekly or once every two weeks, decreasing visits and terminating therapy as they reach their goals. Occasionally, clients are well-suited to a therapy experience that is long-term or that which occurs on an infrequent basis. Each client will be assessed in a diagnostic intake session and will develop their own treatment plan with Dr. Hruska.
